Charitable Bequests
Please consider bequeathing a planned gift,
also known as a “charitable bequest” in your will to help the Weymouth Heights Club continue our mission of serving
the youth of Weymouth and the Scouting organizations we sponsor.
This is a statement in your will or incorporated in your revocable living trust
that outlines your intention to provide a gift to the Weymouth Heights Club . Typically this is a simple process that an attorney
who works with estate and financial information can help you with. A gift of this sort can be restricted or unrestricted by
your wishes, allowing you to predetermine precisely how your gift is used, and is tax deductible by your estate.
The Weymouth Heights Club
is grateful to benefactors who have provided us with this sort of gift in the past, including the estates of Charles Wilder
and Fred Smith, as well as Franklin Pratt and Ron Parry. These generous funds have helped the Weymouth Heights Club support
the needs of the Scouting organizations and the property, and this legacy perpetuates and recognizes the contributions these
men made to the organization.
